</p>European Dictatorships 1918?1945 Review
This book will be extremely useful to teachers of International Baccalaureate History classes. Whilst clearly not dealing with the subject in as much depth as individual biographies of Hitler (Bullock, etc) or Mussolini (Mack Smith, etc), it addresses all areas of totalitarian rule -- economic, social, media, foreign policy -- with precision and gives more than adequate summaries of the latest historiography. For the general reader, it is accessibly written and requires little prior knowledge of the subject, but it is not primarily intended for this audience. Most of the consumer Reviews tell that the "European Dictatorships 1918?1945" are high quality item.
