In the face of all these 5-star reviews, I would hate to add a negative note, but this book was a disappointment to me. True, it gives a well-written practical introduction to very basic pharmaceutical SAS programming, but any book that only gives one page--yes one page--to describe the CDISC standards, including STDM, ADAM, and no coverage at all to what is the basic organization of the Integrated Summary of Safety and Effectiveness (ISS, ISE) portions of the of an FDA submission is not giving the reader the fundamentals that are necessary for the SAS programmer to get a job in this industry. Come on, Mr. Shostak, please finish what you started!
