Bartonella: Diagnosis and Treatment: Part 1 of 2, Full Color Edition

Product Description
THIS COLOR BOOK IS PART OF A 2 VOLUME SET. VOLUME 1 AND VOLUME 2 ARE TWO HALVES OF ONE BOOK. Bartonella is one of the most serious infections in the world. Due to profoundly outmoded testing, this universal world infection has been able to hide in untold tens of millions of individuals. Even with virtually no research, it has gone from 2 species to 32 discovered species in a short time. Treatment studies are all of questionable value. Bartonella harms every organ in at least 15-20 ways. This fact is based on a review of about 2,000 published papers and is functionally unknown to 99.9% of the world s clinical and academic health care workers. This book is meant to powerfully and clearly reveal this profoundly dangerous stealth infection, before it harms millions of people.Bartonella: Diagnosis and Treatment: Part 1 of 2, Full Color Edition Review
Sorry to be the dissenting voice here, but I found this book to shockingly short on substantial information. If you buy both copies, you will spend in the region of $150. Astonishing in itself. The cover suggests that it explores, in depth, the many and varied manifestations of Bartonell, including the psychiatric ones such as depression and severe personality changes. It also suggests that if looks at definative and new treatments and even cures.
In truth it does neither. At the start it covers two case histories VERY briefly; of a man with depression or mania or similar. It simply describes how he was given antiobiotics and returned to normal. This section of the book is about six pages long and in very large print.
The secion on treatment is also very dissapointing. Absolutely truthfully, the whole contents of this (surely the most important section) amounts to the following one, single nugget of information:
No prescription drugs or antibiotics are effective for Bartonella: the only thing that might possibly work are HH Caps from Dr Zhang. These contain an extract of Houttuynia herb.
Everything else is dismissed as not workable. Fair enough. If that is Dr Schaller's experience then I am glad to know it. But here is the problem. There is, according to Dr Schaller (a very good friend of Dr Zhang - as he mentions several times) - only one product in the world worth taking for Bartonella: the HH Caps.
And yet, he will not tell you how many are needed to be effective. He simply repeats over and over that a very large dose is required - but carefully avoids saying how many and hints that only personal consultation (with him) will reveal this information). So, having bought a book for $75 - I don't get the one piece of information needed.
I contacted Dr Schallers office and requested a consultation. Knowing someone suffering from Bartonella, I was keen to learn more about how to use the HH caps. His receptionist said a consultation by telephone was very possible and Dr Schaller works regularly in this way.
Great. Now I would finally be able to make sense of the HH caps mystery. His receptionist then sent me an email with his terms and conditions - the one hour consultation would be charged at $1250.
I kid you not. To learn a simple, important piece of information, would cost $1250.
So folks. You may still want to purchase the book. But I hope I can spare you the cost. The one thing it tells you of use is that all antibiotics are ineffective in eradicating Bartonella - the only thing that works are Dr Zhang's HH caps. (at a dose of 25 per day - a guess from various internet forums - a 45 capsule pot costing $44 would last 1 3/4 days). So a three month course runs in to ... well you can do the maths.
The second bit of vital information - how many capsules are effective - that piece of information will cost you a mere $1250. I am not sure that is ethical.
For that reason, this is the first time in my life that I have left a one star review on Amazon.
